The Global Shapers Community, an initiative of the World Economic Forum, is a worldwide community of active changemakers across more than 500 local hubs. It’s mission is to develop youth leaders, accelerate youth action and amplify youth voices. For over a decade, Global Shapers have worked together on thousands of local projects to help their communities worldwide. From environmental protection to social justice, Global Shapers are leading youth-led action across the world and solving insufficiently addressed challenges in their communities.
The Hamburg Hub
The Global Shapers Hamburg is a community of impact-driven young leaders. We seek to promote positive change in our city through projects ranging from panel discussions to urban gardening and mentoring relationships.

We are convinced that young people are central to solution-building, policy-making and lasting change. We are driven by our shared goal to engage as active participants in local, regional and global affairs. We are committed to improving the state of the world with the potential a global community of the most outstanding young people.
Membership
Being a member of the Global Shapers Hub Hamburg is an honor and a privilege as well as it is a commitment. Interested in becoming a member of our community? You should be between 18 and 28 years old and willing to.
- Initiate and complete projects together with fellow hub members in Hamburg – come up with ideas, take the initiative, organize meetings.
- Promote and organize dialogues and policy initiatives to influence local and international discourse and decision-making,
- Support the creation a network.
